MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a teenager was seriously injured in a two-vehicle wreck over the weekend.
The Patrol says the unidentified 16-year-old from Ravenwood was driving a 2005 Chevy Silverado on 148 Highway, five miles north of Maryville at 11:09 p.m. Saturday.
Authorities say the Chevy crossed the center line and struck the front of a 2003 Ford F-350, driven by 63-year-old Dean Reid, of Bedford, Iowa.
The teenager was transported to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph with serious injuries. Reid suffered no injuries. Both were wearing a seatbelt.
